Table lamp in refined functional design
The serpent table lamp has a refined functional design and gives a soft diffused light. Designed in 1965 by Elio Martinelli, the lamp is made of methacrylate moulding techniques innovative for creating it. Its geometric shape and dynamism revive the atmosphere of those years decisive for the design of Italian's success in the world.
The Serpente Table lamp is in the permanent collection of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York.
