Modern design pendant light in cherry wood
The MVV pendant light is made in a timeless geometric design, and it provides a direct and downward light, complemented by indirect light that filters through the sheets. MVV is a new version of a lamp, designed in the 1970s, by Spain's most notable architect Manuel Valls Vergés and his partner for 15 years, Jose Antonio Coderch. Manuel Valls Vergé's grandson, an architect, and his partners in the Two-Bo studio, Pablo, María and Alberto, wanted to rescue this lamp 45 years later and got Marset to update it to this new and modern edition. The original design, an octagon with overlapping sheets, has now cherry wood on the outside of the sheets, giving a warm light and a white colour inside to improve the light quality. The lamps dimensions are the same as the original, namely Ø 45 cm. The inner structure originally made of iron is now in polycarbonate, making it lighter.
